Dr. Craig Thompson, Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Thompson comes to us as a native of Columbus Ohio. He attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated Valedictorian from Columbus West High in 1981. He continued his undergraduate education at Otterbein College (now University), graduating in 1984 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude. He attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine for his medical education, graduating with his M.D. in 1989. After medical school he did his residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital here in Columbus. 

His career has spanned over 30 years and has varied as he has practiced in Pediatrics, worked in the Department of Youth services, The Bureau of Disability Determination, and also currently works at Rehabilitation Care Group providing adult mental health and addiction medicine services.

He joined the Eden team in January 2023 as Medical Director and is seeing patients for adult mental health and addiction medical needs.

 Mr. Teague oversees clinical operations at Eden Counseling Centers.

A Native of Cleveland, Ohio, Thomas J. Teague Jr. attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he earned his B.A. in Social Work and his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. He is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC-CS). 

 Thomas has over 25 years of experience in working with adolescents and adults that live with Substance Use and Behavioral Health Disorders. His experience ranges from working with clients in community mental health centers, Juvenile Corrections, and as an Adjunct Professor with Ohio Christian University and Tiffin University.
