During the COVID-19 pandemic, counseling and several case management services are provided virtually. Although the intake process is in person, the initial assessment and subsequent appointments will be scheduled and conducted via the telehealth service.
For over 40 years, telehealth has been used to bring healthcare services to patients in distant locations. Not only does telehealth improve access to patients but it also allows physicians and health facilities to expand their reach, beyond their own offices. Given the Covid 19 pandemic and the addiction specialist shortages provider shortages in both rural and urban areas, telehealth has a unique capacity to allow our professionals to provide the same quality service to our remote clients, as we do those seen onsite.
Telemedicine services are provided to facilitate remote healthcare services, such as the delivery of medication assisted treatment (MAT). Our medical staff can safely provide HIPAA compliant treatment services and information.
Clients are trained to conveniently access these services by their computer or smartphone.
